...turning students into authors

Text Box: Text Box: Schools & Organizations
Text Box: Writers have the power to create a world out of words; a world where everything is just as they wish it to be. The journey of that creation can transform a child and in turn, transform a world.

By inviting Get Booked into your classroom, you’re moving toward that transformation. You’re opening a door to an experience that will enlighten your elementary school students to the joy of turning their thoughts, feelings, ideas, and dreams into entertaining stories.

Get Booked coalesces their ideas into distinctively designed stories that will not only entertain but offer a unique level of fulfillment and satisfaction.

Get Booked meets selected Core Curriculum Content Standards for Language Arts and Literacy and Visual and Performing Arts.
Text Box: The Get Booked playshop is an exercise in brainstorming, critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, and teamwork. It brings a new appreciation for the written word that in turn creates a love of reading. Children who love to read can learn anything.

By the close of this interactive class, each child has participated in the process of creating a one-of-a-kind illustrated book. More over, the gift that each student takes away from this experience is more than any one book can provide.

By completing the Get Booked playshop, each child has experienced the power that rests inside each of us to create, to achieve, and to change the world.
